I’ve always been fascinated with these seer’s spaces, and wanted to photographically document the variety within Los Angeles. As with all professions, there are charlatans and there are people of integrity. No doubt one can find gifted individuals offering excellent counsel and empathic, active listening at these sometimes humble and sometimes opulent façades. I’ve sought guidance from professional therapists and intuitive readers. What you see are entries of wisdom from my journals—wisdom that has certainly brought light to a previously filtered perspective—wisdom from PhDs and intuitive healers.
