My mentors and admired artists recommend, "photograph what is accessible." During the Covid years I was more housebound than ever. Yes, I started to lose it—every day felt the same, except with increased divisiveness (thankfully, not at my home). As a person who is invigorated when working with people and expressing myself visually, I delved more into the hyper-immediate surroundings and environment. Simply, these are photos of a man and his cat. This selection of images spans 4 years and the majority were captured in 2020.
